Daniela Weaver is known for her fun-loving personality and creative, timeless spin on classic portraiture. Her artistic goal is to honor the bond between a relationship, and for each portrait to embody the beauty of one's self. Taking the time to connect with clients makes the entire Custom Portraiture experience easy and enjoyable, from consultation to delivery and installation of the cherished heirlooms that adorn her client's homes... but who is she, really?? Daughter, wife, mother, proud member of the Aggie Class of '00, and someone who LOVES to give back to BCS Community... Tim and Daniela are very blessed to have two of the most wonderful kids (ok, they are actually adults now) you could ever find, and especially enjoy biking, gardening, music, cars, art, and other fun family activities! Basically, they are nature, outdoor sports, art, and car enthusiasts... on any given day you may find Daniela barefoot in the garden before or after work, cycling, relaxing with her fur-kids, hiking or doing yoga with Grace, or supporting Joe in his mechanical endeavors. Tim and D are also huge fans of Parks and Rec, and are enjoying being part-time empty nesters.
The Studio has a reputation not only for creating outstanding images that characterize the subject's personality, but also for providing excellence in quality and exceptional customer service. In an effort to continually improve, Daniela is an active member of the Professional Photographers Association, the Texas Professional Photographers Association. She earned the Master of Photography Degree in January of 2020, and the Silver Photographer of the year distinction in 2017. She became a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) in October of 2010 and a CPP Liaison in 2014. Daniela is also a member of the Arts Council of Brazos Valley!
"My passion for photography began, I think, at age five. At the time, my mother and I lived in Italy. We traveled often, and I was given the opportunity to be exposed to many forms of art. As beautiful and inspiring as it all may have been, the one piece that awed me most was a black and white portrait of my cousin as a baby. It was huge, almost the size of the sofa it hung above, and exceptionally made. I did not know why it fascinated me so (maybe the sheer size), but I stared at it each time we would visit. Now, I understand. As a photographer, each day is an endeavour to create images that will be remembered so. Accurate exposure, lighting, posing are all essential, but life, love, tenderness, and those bonds within it, are exquisite. And so now, as a mother, not only do I appreciate photography for its purity and beauty, but for its relevance in capturing those moments in life that will never happen again and deserve to be documented."
